Presenting… the #powderroom at #StanfordHouse! We were on a tight budget for this sweet little space (as is tradition lol). There was an awkward pitch to the ceiling and it was located right off the kitchen so it had to be cute enough to mak We can’t seem to stop hitting the snooze button this AM so why not a #bedroom post? Composing of an old window, awkward nook, and a very narrow layout — this master we designed in Santa Monica was a bit of a challenge on the tight budget We love a fancy #diningroom! Yet we also love a more informal one liked we’ve designed here b/c let’s be honest, dining rooms serve many different purposes in today’s homes. Dinner table, game table, and for many of us right now an We love an #eclectic space — and unlike the Interior Designers who like to follow an algorithm with their designs, we prefer each home we create to be completely unique and a representation of the homeowner/s rather than us or our personal aest An #orchid adds instant elegance. It’s our secret weapon when staging a room, but shhhh don’t tell anyone we told you so. It was also our mother/Grammy’s favorite flower so it’s a special little ode to her in the spaces we des #Shelfie tip! Color coordinate. It creates a sense of calm organization even when the lineup is eclectic. #Kitchen shelfie tip? Display items you use the most on the bottom; items you use occasionally above that; and the special occasion items at the Our favorite room to design? #Kitchens! Every family utilizes their kitchen in a different manner so meeting a client’s needs always makes for a fun challenge. Small kitchens. Large kitchens. Open kitchens. Galley kitchens. #Farmhouse sink or u Is your #bathroom door messing with your space planning? Go the #barndoor route! While traditionally considered a #rustic feature, we love to pair it with contemporary elements to create a #juxtaposition of old vs. new. It highlights the beauty in bo No #bathroom storage? No proble.... ha! Gotcha! BIG PROBLEM. What is a bathroom w/out storage?! Q-tips, retainers and fungus cream... oh my! 😅 Especially if you’re a high maintenance gal like we happen to be. It doesn’t have to be basic, Helloooo Sunday! Time for a bath and a little r&r. We have to admit that we love a fancy show-stopping bathroom design, but sometimes a soaking tub and neutral color palette is all ya need. #StanfordHouse Our go-to coffee table decor? #Books! Sophisticated, versatile, and a good means of entertaining guests... sometimes you’ve just gotta “keep it simple stupid” and not over complicate things. We like to bring home a book whenever we 4 months ago we began to take you on a journey of our #StanfordHouse project... but we completely dropped the ball! So here we go again. This #townhome had glass blocks EVERYWHERE that the city of Santa Monica considered a “historical feature o One of several #bathrooms we remodeled at #StanfordHouse. We kept it sweet and a bit rustic but included a jazzy statement tile for a punch. The pendant light was a vintage mystery something that we found while antique shopping in our hometown @kingr A more revealing view of the #guestroom at #StanfordHouse 🌿 (that sounded a little scandalous, didn’t it?) #arndtdesignbuild Rise and shine it's wake up time! Wakey wakey eggs & bacy! C'mon up & Adam! The sun is up & the birds are chipin! Wake up & smell the coffee! Put on your makeup/reach for that smiley face cup! There’s no time like the present...
